Message from the Rotary's President 2020/21

Rotary : Opens Opportunities

Dear Fellow Rotarians,

Rotary is a worldwide organization having the motto of "service above self" which inspires us to devote ourselves fully to serve the community and mankind. In this world, about 35,000 clubs with 1.2 million prestigious members are working and carrying the aim of service above self. Rotary Club of Narayangarh is one of these clubs, which is able to make its own niche in the field of community service and humanity from its inception. I feel really proud to be the president of this club.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude and thanks to the Charter President, all the Past Presidents, Board Members, Rotarians and Rotary family for honoring me with this wonderful opportunity to lead Rotary club of Narayangarh for the Rotary Year 2020/21.

I feel that the seven main focus areas of the Rotary International and essential for the mankind should be combined and relevant/essential programs should be carried out in order to rise the level of Rotary's dignity in the society where RI's Theme 'Rotary Opens Opportunities" would get success. As our District Governor Rtn. Rajiv Pokhrel has focused about the Rotary's giving is making/ serving, we make sure that we will work in this field to enhance our club's image in the community. We are excited to contribute in The Rotary Foundation and implement this year more service project with the support from global grants, district grant and our own donations.

I have committed to increase the numbers of members in our club by inviting the new members and chartered members as well during my tenure. We will continue to collaborate with other partner organizations like Wine To Water Nepal, local bodies (municipalities and rural municipalities) and other Rotary clubs for the up-coming service projects. We will focus on the co-funding for the service projects.   

I would personally like to congratulate the IPP Rtn. Sushan Lal Pradhan and his team for their dynamic leadership and successful tenure. Finally, I wish to see the co-operation and big support of all my Rotarian friends, Rotaractors, Spouses to make Rotary Year 2020/21, a grand successful and fruitful year.
