On the occasion of World Oldage Citizen Day, Rotary Club of Narayangarh jointly with Rotaract Club of Narayangarh organized a Food Distribution Program at Devghat Oldaged Social Service Centre, Tanahu-5, Devghat. The tradition of distributing the essential prerequisites that includes clothes, fruits and foods has been from the past and will continue in the coming years as well by the the club said the President of the club, Rtn. Narayan Pradhan.
Chartered President of the club, Rtn. Niranjan Pradhan confronted that the club has been doing the work of social service staying above the line of greed. The program along with the distribution segment included a segment where videos of interaction with the old members about their life experiences were shown via projecter. The coordinator of Devghat Oldaged Social Service Centre, Tanahu-5, Devghat, Dhakaram Koirala expressed his heartily thanks to the club for their efforts to provide the prerequisites such as cooking oils, rice, pulses, masala, vegetables and so on. Altogether there were 15 Rotarians and 11 Rotaracters that participated the program. Towards the end of the program that was hosted by member of Rotaract Club of Narayangarh, Rtr. Sushma Gurung, coordinator Rtn. Sushan Lal Pradhan expressed thanks to the attendees and wishes for the good health of all the old members of the service centre.
