COVID-19 Response Program in Madi Municipality

On July 18th 2020, in partnership with Wine To Water Nepal and Standard Bank, Bharatpur Branch, Rotary club of Narayangarh installed and handed over 11 hand washing units, 7 Sawyer filters and 6 branded desktop computers to quarantine centers, health care facilities and Chitwan National Park as a part of COVID-19 response program. The computers were handed over to the e-library of Madi Secondary school, where two blocks of the school are being used as quarantine center. The beneficiaries were Chitwan National Park, Madi Ayurvedalaya, Shomeshowr Seconddary school, Khairahani Secondary school, Madi secondary school, Madi campus, Diwakar Memorial school, Dhobaha Lower secondary school, Jankalyan school, Bhairav lower secondary school and Bagahi army post. These all schools are used as quarantine centers at the moment. The total response cost was about 350,000.
